PAUL GREEN SCHOOL OF ROCK
GRAD SCHOOL
ROCK SCHOOL FOR THOSE OLD ENOUGH TO VOTEHave you always wanted to learn to play the guitar, bass, keyboards, or drums, but felt is was too late? Or has your musical instrument been gathering dust because of the craziness of daily life and your "real job"? Or are you a "weekend warrior" who would like to gain some new musical skills and knowledge, as well as some new friends and musical contacts? Have you ever wanted to play a big rock show at a MAJOR club?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, the new Grad School program at the Paul Green School of Rock Music is for you.
This 3 month program will help you gain new musical skill in both private lesson and group settings. You will learn from experienced teachers who are all working musicians, and they'll help you gain real-world knowledge, new musical skills, and contacts that can help you start or resurrect, or enhance your musical pursuits.
The program begins with an orientation meeting and master class group lesson. Over the following few weeks, all students will be scheduled 2 one hour private lessons (generally on Thursdays evenings, subject to teachers/students availability). These lessons will focus on each students individual needs and to help prepare material for the show. The rehearsals, which will be Thursday nights from 8-10:30pm, will start April 17th and run though mid/late June. The show date will dictate the final rehearsal schedules. In Mid/late May, each student will get an additional one hour private lesson to help fine tune additional assigned material and/or concepts. Once the cast is ready, "undirected jam" times will be offered when the rehearsal room is available. The cost of the entire program is $1195. A discounted rate of $995 is available to parents of School of Rock Students and returning Grad Scholars.
At the end of the program, you will be in a real rock show at one of Baltimore's largest and most prestigious rock venues. This will be a great time to show off your skills, get some performance experience on a great stage, and just have a great time.
The cost of the program is $1195, but parents of School of Rock students or repeat Grad Scholars receive a discounted rate of $995.
